The Leeds & Liverpool Canal
127 miles long with 91 locks
I set up this blog to document our walk along the canal from Liverpool to Leeds, which we started in late 2019 and didn't finish until late 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
We walked the canal in 10 separate stages utilising public transport wherever we could, and living in Chorley, through which the canal passes made this easier, enabling us to walk from home for two of the stages, Chorley to Wigan and Chorley to Blackburn.
